Description: 

Beechwood is a private, non-profit school of 170 students in Kinder Prep through 8th grade, and serves over 100 families from Menlo Park to East Palo Alto.

The landscape design focused on sustainability while providing a safe and playful environment for the students daily use. The design incorporates the use of drought tolerant plant materials, water-efficient irrigation systems, permeable unit paving and various storm water treatment planters. The colorful playground paving design offers a unique and interesting experience for the students daily outdoor activities. The landscape design also offers various outdoor amenities such as an outdoor amphitheater, basketball courts, running track and sports field.
