Description: 

The project scope included the landscape renovation of the existing private plaza to create a welcoming and dynamic place for people to meet, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

University Plaza creates an inviting space for use by persons being served by the retail, and for use by the general public. New seating areas, shade structures, planting and site lighting create a warm and comfortable space for customers to enjoy, and serve as an entry plaza for the office space. The planting design emphasizes contrasting textures, colors and forms, arranged in soft informal massings to create year round interest. Low water use plants and native plants are intermixed, providing visual interest and supportive habitat for butterflies, birds and bees.

University Plaza greatly improves gateway into downtown, with new amenities that encourage use of the plaza by customers, employees, and the general public.
