St. Joseph Square – 599 Castro

Description: 

The mixed-use, urban infill site in downtown Mountain View is a partnership between The Sobrato Organization and St. Joseph Church. The project preserves the historic church, adds retail and office as well as living and working facilities for the church community. The site serves as the corporate headquarters for The Sobrato Organization.

The main plaza serves both office and church uses and can be configured for special church events. The design features sustainable planting and a strong visual quality to the courtyard which is positioned above a multi-story parking garage.
