As a gateway project for the North Bayshore Area of Mountain View, the project at Pear Avenue has evolved to meet goals of the community. Pear includes apartments and offices that share pubic open space, parking, and access through the site to connect to the surrounding community.

Amenities in the landscape areas include public recreation areas, rain gardens, art installations, picnic areas, bike paths, dog stations along the walks, game areas, and fireplaces. TGP has been involved in resolving challenging site constraints as well as circulation for the diverse modes of transportation thorough the site. Creative layout of the site amenities allows for the office tenants to have private patios that feel connected to the public open space as well. In accordance with the design guidelines, native planting will be used extensively throughout the site as well the relocation of 7 oaks that existed on the site.
